This week has certainly been one of my worst weeks at work with accusations and lies. People you would normally trust will even let you down.

Monday morning at 6.45am I had one of the guys come up and said that he heard that I had accused him of faking an injury he had sustained at work.

Monday afternoon at 4pm while I was at a training course a contractor came into the office full of anger and screaming at the office staff. He made a number of accusations including that I was taking bribes from other contractors.

Tuesday morning at 7.15am the union rep pulled me aside and told me that one of the staff had complained that I rigged an interview to get a certain person on.

Tuesday 2.30pm I got upset with someone talking on the internet.

Friday I had to issue a disciplinary letter to a staff member who then got upset and went home.
I really started to struggle with those two words TRUST and HONESTY who could I trust anymore. Even those that are close to me I started to doubt, and within the work force I really started to struggle. When you start to doubt any one it seems to put doubt in your mind about everyone.





Any way the injured worker came back and apologized and said it was a misunderstanding. The bribery accusation was aired at a meeting with the works manager, and again it was someone else that had made those comments and I wasn’t even involved. The matter was even going to be placed in the hands of a government department (Independent Corruption against Crime). Thankfully it was resolved before it got to that stage. The worker that accused me of rigging the interview couldn’t go ny further because we had independent people on the interview panel and the evidence cleared me. He actually came and seen me later and said he was upset that he missed out on the position but has now accepted the decision. The internet person I hope I can trust, we have spoken a couple of times since and I believe I have a better understanding. I really hope that trust is not broken and there will be no secret stuff anymore.



If that trust is broken again I really don’t know what will happen. Maybe I will have to accept what has happened and move on.
TRUST and HONESTY even God has commanded us to obey those words.
